Zoofari is the Stampin' Up stamp set that Sonja Stauch from Grove City, Ohio, used to get this great look and feel of a filmstrip. How cute for a child's birthday card! sstauch@columbus.rr.com
Each square is 1 1/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch. THe black is a strip of paper 2 inches wide x 4 1/2 and punched on both sides with the spiral punch. By stamping the monkey traveling across each consecutive square, it will look like he is in a slow motion animation. How fun! She used Close to Cocoa, purely pomgranate, black, and white cardstock. And used markers to color the cute little monkeys.
Thelma Antolin slemma@excite.com created this beautiful card. I have used this Stampin' Up set - Baroque Motif -more than any other stamp set. And I have used the cardstock - River Rock - on many many projects. It is a very versatile color, rich ,but light enough to go with many other colors.
Be sure and check out the Stampin' Up color combo widget in my sidebar to find beautiful color combinations that will make your creations really great.
Sally Stevens from Baneberry Tennessee sallystevens@charter .net made this wonderful card. I love the sentiment. "The winds of grace are always blowing, but it is ours to set the sails." I have found that to be a comfort many times throughout my life. I have as a stencil border in my youngest son's bedroom. " we can't control the wind, but we can adjust our sails." I want him to learn that he has what it takes to do what the Lord needs him to do.

This card was made by Joan Matis. I swapped with her at the regional swap in Louisville, kentucky. I liked this idea using the make a memory cd from Stampin'Up. This is also a wonderful tool for scrapbook journaling. I use my computer a lot when I scrapbook, because like most scrapbookers, I don't like my handwriting.
Isn't this guy great? I love his style - such panache- I just celebrated my second son's 25th birthday! Where does the time go? I could very easily start spouting cliches ,but I miss his sweet little hand reaching for mine. He was a dear little soul. I am proud of him as a man, too, but he was a sweet little guy. So today, we are serving a little sentimentality with our birthday cake.
