Christmas Card club

City of David

City-of-david

We did this card for our Christmas card club that meets monthly. This stamp set, City of David, is retired, but I still love it and use it. Some of us take a little longer to let go, I guess. I used wintergreen paper, also retired, but the new designer series paper, Urban garden, uses the same colors, which is a fabulous uptown color combo for Christmas.

I have 2 of these card kits left. Order this pack of paper online here, and I will make sure you get them. Leave a comment and let me know you have ordered.

Lovely - a Christmas Card

I cased this card from Catherine Harwood. I loved the idea of red and blue for Christmas. It is super simple. I added glitter, just for fun. This is a card for my Christmas card club that meets monthly. Please feel free to join us. It is never too late.

Accesories: Circle scallop Punch, 1 1/2 circle punch, Big shot machine and top notch die, ribbon, glitter, sponge

Every time I use the Big Shot machine, I love it more. I cut 5 of the white background papers at one time. This was so convenient for Christmas cards.

A Little Paper Piecing

Pptree

This was last month's Christmas card club sample. It was more paper piecing than stamping, but the stamping on the background really added depth to the tree.  We free handed the tree.

Stamp set: sanded background

Cardstock: very vanilla, chocolate chip, real red, garden green, barely banana

Ink: creamy cocoa

Holy-family

This is a card we made in our Christmas card club. The fourth Tuesday night of every month, we make 6x6 pages for our recipe album, followed by our Christmas card club. Each member has a stash of cards in preparation for the holiday.

Stamp set: Holy Triptych

Cardstock: very vanilla, mellow moss

Ink: versamark, mellow moss

Accessories: gold embossing powder, gold string, ribbon, coluzzle

I used my cricut machine to cut the ovals.

Christmas in January

I didn't mail that first Christmas card in 2007. I need to plan WAY ahead. Once a month I will be hosting a Christmas card club, where we will make as many cards as we want of the selected card design. There will then be ten different designs throughout the year. Hopefully, bby the time Christmas rolls around, we will have an impressive stack of cards ready to mail to our friends and loved ones.
Janxmascard08 These are available as card kits at $2.00 each plus shipping  -if you need them shipped.
