Metal stamping is a process of shaping and reshaping metals such as copper or platinum in a way that molds the entire piece (can) or forms an impression into the metal ( coin). Other forms of metal stamping include using a press to blanket or emboss. So when you read or hear the word "metalworking", more than likely, this includes metal stamping.
